General requirements for the documents

  • All documents provided have to be clearly readable;
  • All official foreign documents provided have to be confirmed with Apostille/legalized (save for instances where the documents are issued by jurisdictions that make use of a special rules pursuant to international agreement with Lithuania);
  • All documents provided should be in Lithuanian or English. In case the original documents are in any other language, please provide official translations confirmed with Apostille/legalized. Both the original documents and translation should be provided.

The list of required documents

Copy of Certificate of incorporation / Extract from Register of Legal Entities (or equivalent) (should contain information on a legal entity’s legal name, legal form, registration number, country of registration, registered address, directors/representatives and shareholders; excerpt from the Companies Register database should not be older than 3 months);

Copy of Articles of Association (or equivalent);

Group chart of the Customer – document detailing the group structure and ownership for the legal entity to the UBO(s) (dated and signed by the representative of the Customer; should not be older than 3 months);

Group chart of the Customer – document detailing the group structure and ownership for the legal entity to the UBO(s) (dated and signed by the representative of the Customer; should not be older than 3 months);

Financial records of the Customer (Financial statement/Annual report for last 2 years);

Business plan (for start-up companies);

Colored and valid copy of the passport/national ID card of the person representing the Customer/user of account (if other than legal representative);

Copy of proof of address of person representing the Customer/user of account (if other than legal representative) (should not be older than 3 months);

Power of Attorney (or other document underlying a right to represent the Customer) for the person representing the Customer (if other than legal representative);

License for the business activity (in case the Customer is engaged in licensed business activities);
